Operations Manager at Campden Conferences

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced event operations professional with 2 years+ experience to join a fast growing niche membership and events business that operates globally. Campden Wealth is the global leader in providing private forums for ultra-affluent business owning families. The Operations Manager will take specific responsibility for overseeing all logistical aspects of EMEA conference organisation for our 6 flagship 2-day conferences per year, each with the potential for pre-day and post-day activities, as well as 4 smaller 1-day roundtable events per year and series of Breakfast Briefing events. The role includes sourcing, negotiation with and liaison with all conference venues and suppliers as well as on-site management (including managing delegate registration and liaison) of conferences within the post-holders portfolio.

The role will require a dynamic individual with prior event operations experience capable of excelling in a forward-facing role managing and liaising with suppliers, venues, clients and attendees and who is looking for a role in a growth environment and ready for their next challenge.International travel throughout Europe and the Middle East is a requirement of the role.

The successful candidate will be a proven achiever, have outstanding communication and organisational skills, demonstrate ability to manage and stay within budgets, have a keen eye for detail and importantly relish being the first point of contact for many of our network before during and immediately after the events.

  • Problem-solving and creativity
  • Experience of using InDesign software
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems
  • Experience of proofreading
  • Must be comfortable in a five star environment
